Karen Clothier Design & Interiors was founded in 2018 and is based in Scottsdale, Arizona, with the ability to accept projects throughout the greater metro and surrounding areas. I relocated to Arizona with my husband in the spring of 2016, and although a fairly new resident, I have been coming out to the desert regularly since 2005.  I absolutely love the desert lifestyle and landscape..

I first developed my love of interior design by remodeling every home my husband and I have owned. Upon moving to Scottsdale, I was accepted into the American Institute of Interior Design in Fountain Hills, where I graduated with Honors and have been able to finally follow my dreams of being a designer. I also have a Bachelor of Science in Business from Oklahoma State University.  I’m a member of the International Furnishings and Design Association and the American Society of Interior Designers. In my prior career, I was in the banking industry.

I have an eye for design and a love for beautiful furnishings, finishes, and quality workmanship. I work closely with my clients to create spaces that speak to their interests, needs, lifestyle and personal taste. I would describe my own design style as classic and warm, with touches of transitional, yet I enjoy creating spaces of all types, designs and styles.  I pride myself on her attention to detail, obsession for quality, and providing a first-class experience for my clients.

In my free time, I spend time with my husband, Brad, and our dogs, Piper and Maya.  I love running, working out and boating; and traveling back to Wichita to visit our 4 grown daughters, sons-in-law and grandchildren.
